As a way to celebrate the good husbands all over the world, IWDTST has decided to do a dedicated awards post. This will most likely be the first of many, but we thought because we had these images handy we would get the show started with a few awards. The awards come from the last rule in the Good Wife Guide from Housekeeping Monthly, 1955: “A good wife always knows her place.”
This particular awards post is inspired by husbands who make their wives handle the brunt of the labor.
1. Man makes wife carry the case of beer.
Too tired to carry the beer? You take the sixer she takes the case.
2. Man makes wife carry all the days clippings.
Want a cigarette? Let her do the carrying.
3. Man carries wives in back of tractor.
She wants to go somewhere? Let her ride in the back of the tractor.
